A downloadable game

Roleplaying game based on the weird fiction of the 1920s. You are a motley crew of detectives, conmen, revolutionaries, pugilists, and thieves whose job is to investigate occult mysteries in various exotic locations around the globe.

Pastiche world of lost cities, macabre cultists, eccentric academics and prehistoric gods, borrowing as freely from Lovecraft as it does from Agatha Christie and Indiana Jones. PCs are recruited as investigators in one of five hub cities - London, New Orleans, Istanbul, Calcutta, Shanghai - and presented with their choice of eight plot hooks, designed to take them all over the world and able to be approached in any manner they see fit.

Designed to be modular. Aztecs. Fantomas. Red Shambhala. British folk horror. Dinosaurs. Pirates. The Mummy. Vedic superweapons. Lemuria. Bulldog Drummond. Evil carnivals. Greenland. The Ku Klux Klan. Aleister Crowley. El Dorado. The Chinese Civil War. Hopefully there's something in here you can use.

Hoping that this terrific game can be formatted as single pages rather than spreads so it can be printed and put in a binder 🙂

Yes I apologise for not doing this, I've been busy with other secret projects so I haven't had time to think about Strange Aeons at all really. It'll happen eventually.

Thanks, Ian!  I tried converting it myself into single page layout for my personal use, but I lack the technical skills to manipulate a PDF in that fashion.

Seriously love this. Gonna try to run it as an open table game soon.

Quick question: how would you stat out villains, npcs, and monsters in this game?

This looks like a really great game!  Would it be possible to have a portrait orientation “singles” layout instead of the landscape layout with two book pages on each side of a sheet?  The portrait “singles” layout will make it easier to print and read like a regular book.

Only just saw this - will add it to the to-do list for sure.

Thank you Ian!  Having the pages in portrait “singles” will make it ideal to have printed out and in a handy binder!  Much appreciated!
